Edgar Gerson
Founder & President
Edgar Gerson is an architect and IP designer with 25 years of experience in the UAE. He founded EG Concepts Design Services and now leads De Sousa Holdings, which develops landmark real estate and infrastructure concepts.
Objective
To build an urban ecosystem that profits from happiness. It is engineered backwards from the people who live in it and designed for longevity, with calm, stress-free environments, shorter commutes and flood-resilient infrastructure.
Legacy
To leave a legacy rooted in culture, heritage and hospitality, with places that carry the region's identity forward for generations.
Wassim Kabbani
Executive Vice President, Finance & Strategy
Wassim Kabbani brings more than 40 years of experience, five in the USA and over 36 in the UAE. He has worked across corporate banking, retail, manufacturing, contracting, real estate and financial services.
A finance specialist by background, he analyses business models, designs the strategy and leads its implementation. He also has deep experience negotiating with senior public- and private-sector leaders, locally and internationally.
At De Sousa Holdings he oversees finance and strategy, turning the company's vision into disciplined, bankable projects.

Mohammad Khalaf
Director of Engineering & Projects
Mohammad Khalaf is a civil engineer and project manager with more than 25 years of experience in the UAE. He has delivered large-scale infrastructure, roads, bridges, residential and major development projects for leading contractors, engineering consultancies and real estate developers.
He specialises in project and contract management, including FIDIC contracts, cost control, quality assurance and strategic planning. He leads multidisciplinary teams through every stage of a project, keeping work on budget, on schedule and to standard.
At De Sousa Holdings he leads engineering and project delivery, turning the company's concepts into built infrastructure.
